Ramsey Golf Club – Competitions Report
Jon Carey claimed the overall honours last Saturday with an excellent 36 points, also securing Division 2 after edging out James Moore on a countback.
In Division 1, Glen Charnock took the win with 35 points, which was good enough for third place overall, followed by Ben Locking on 34.
Captain Radar produced the best gross of the day.
Eclectic Update
There’s a new leader at the top as Andy Nicholson moves into first place after improving by two shots to reach 57.
Paul Allison and Steve Smith remain close behind on 58 and 59 respectively.
Order of Merit
No change at the top this week.
Phil Drowley continues to lead despite a recent dip in form, although his once-comfortable advantage has narrowed, with Ben Locking now just five points behind.
Important Reminder
Players are reminded that scores must be entered into the computer immediately after completing your round.
If a score is not entered, it cannot be included in the eclectic standings, as the system is unable to update without the data.
This Weekend
• Saturday: Round 17 of the Winter Series and Eclectic.
• Sunday: A Four-Person AMAM (2 from 4 to count), weather permitting.
